Senior Manager, Marketing Operations

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations role at Electronic Arts is a tactical builder with expertise in media operations, process design, and financial planning. You are passionate about improving how work gets done by building scalable, repeatable processes and partnering with teams across the organization. You are comfortable working in a evolving environment, bringing structure to complex operational challenges, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

You will lead operational initiatives, establish processes that support consistent execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units to drive alignment and operational effectiveness. You will help teams navigate change, support informed decision-making through operational and financial insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of media operations.

You will report to the Senior Director, Operations. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in one of the listed office locations.

Required Competencies

  • You have demonstrated experience in the media buying/planning life cycles, including full-funnel marketing strategies, ad technology, media mix modeling, attribution models, and creative production pipelines.
  • You will navigate a matrixed media advertising environment, balancing the needs of independent product teams while aligning them toward a unified operations strategy.
  • You bring experience introducing new tools and new processes to teams to implement standardization of operations and reporting. Change management specialization identifying user needs and aligning them to new ways of working.
  • You have demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing media budgets, advanced forecasting, and collaborating with budget owners across multiple business units.
  • Monitor actual spend against budget, identify potential overages or underruns, and recommend budget reallocations across products based on financial performance and our priorities.
  • You have experience managing across department projects and coordinating business operations across multiple teams and partners, including ownership of recurring reporting cadences, project timelines, project deliverables, and status tracking.
  • Evaluate existing workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) that support consistency and scalability across multiple products.
  • Influence decisions, and build productive working relationships with teams, agency partners, and external vendors.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-funnel media strategy and buying within a complex, changing enterprise, or in enterprise program management leading large scale change initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Program Management, or Business Excellence within the media, tech, or video games space.
  • Expertise in leading large-scale organizational change and setting new standards, tools, and processes for media operations.
  • 5+ years managing complex and dynamic budgets, handling forecasting and real-time adjustments, and managing reporting cadences to sr executives.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications

  • Understanding of the evolving media landscape, with experience with innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience building workflows and operating processes using modern project management tools (Airtable, Asana, ClickUp, and Jira).
  • Technical expertise in pulling reports from live data sources using SQL queries or agentic workflows.
  • You can succeed in an environment with broad latitude for decision-making and a goal of redefining continuous improvement.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$133,500 - $186,400 CAD
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$153,700 - $233,600 USD
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$144,900 - $196,500 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
