As a Senior Manager, you will lead multiple groups and guide a diverse team of Department Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers. You'll ensure strong operations, financial performance, and team development while modeling the company's values and quality standards.

Leadership & Management

• Use servant leadership to cultivate high-performing, mission-aligned teams. • Oversee group operations, staffing, workload planning, and project assignments. • Mentor and develop Department Managers to strengthen leadership bench strength. • Forecast staffing needs and support recruitment and training efforts. • Retain and engage associates through coaching, recognition, collaboration, and team-building activities. • Support performance management, conflict resolution, and HR compliance.

Project & Operational Oversight

• Ensure projects meet financial goals, quality expectations, and client objectives. • Review project scopes, schedules, and fees; ensure accurate project plans in the management system. • Conduct project performance reviews and support corrective actions. • May manage select projects and perform technical tasks such as design and quality review. • Prepare financial updates and assist with office operations alongside the Managing Director; may serve as Acting Managing Director when needed.

Client & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong client relationships. • Support proposal development and ensure high-quality, complete scopes of work. • Collaborate with Primary Client Contacts on project progress, challenges, and future opportunities. • May serve as Primary Client Contact for key accounts. • Represent Jones Edmunds professionally in all client and community interactions.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure full compliance with the Jones Edmunds Quality Program and Project Management Manual. • Hold teams accountable to high-quality standards, including subconsultant work. • Encourage brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving on all projects. • Support profitability while maintaining exceptional quality.

What You Bring

Education: BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field OR 4 years of municipal civil/environmental A/E project management experience in lieu of degree

Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting 3+ years of project management 3+ years of staff management or completion of the Jones Edmunds Leadership Program

Preferred Licensing: Florida Professional Engineer, Geologist, or Architect (may be required for some departments)
