Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Market Insight

  • Support the development and ongoing refinement of NA Authentication strategy in alignment with Visa’s long‑term business priorities.
  • Analyze drivers of authentication adoption, including performance improvements, market gaps, underpenetrated verticals, and new value propositions.
  • Assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and partnership opportunities across eCommerce, digital payments, and identity ecosystems.
     

Product & Solution Leadership

  • Define and support execution of product‑level strategies across the authentication and eCommerce portfolio (e.g., Passkeys, Tap, Enhanced Data, 3DS, Verifiable Credentials).
  • Partner with global and regional product teams on NA‑specific requirements for new product launches and enhancements.
  • Evaluate product designs and value propositions against client needs, technical feasibility, and regional market dynamics.
  • Take a cross‑product view in managing and assessing roadmaps to ensure alignment with NA priorities.
     

Client & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with client‑facing teams to develop a deep understanding of client needs, implementation considerations, and market requirements.
  • Work across product, technology, innovation, design, engineering, and ecosystem partners to deliver applied solutions.
  • Translate strategy into clear priorities, metrics, and execution plans for assigned initiatives.
     

Executive Communication & Influence

  • Develop concise, executive‑ready communications and leadership updates.
  • Influence and align senior global and regional stakeholders to drive prioritization and execution of strategic initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectationof days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce industry dynamics, including platform ecosystems, digital payments, and merchant and issuer needs.
  • Demonstrated success leading or supporting large scale, complex strategic programs across global and matrixed organizations.
  • Strong product and business acumen
  • Experience partnering with product and technology teams to deliver market-leading solutions.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Able to synthesize complex information and drive actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive‑ready materials.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership and support collective success.
  • Ability to operate effectively across functions and geographies to drive positive outcomes

The estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
