SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Marketing Communication leads external and internal communication execution for Qcells USA's EPC Division. The critical qualification for this role is proven B2B marketing experience directed at renewable energy industry customers which require direct experience marketing to utility-scale developers, and industry stakeholders.

 

The role translates Market Intelligence insightsintomarketing messaging and consistent brand execution that positions Qcells EPC as the leading domestic EPC and Integrated Solution Provider in the U.S. utility-scale solar market. The role requires strategic ownership at the execution level — planning and running the Division's presence at the industry's most consequential trade events, including RE+, ACP, CERAWeek, and Intersolar — while maintaining disciplined tracking of the marketing budget spend and reporting to Head of Market Intelligence & Communications.

 

Success in this role requires fluency in the U.S. utility-scale solar business — market structure, policy drivers (IRA, domestic content, FEOC), and competitive dynamics — combined with proven exhibition management experience, brand stewardship, and the communications judgment to translate technical market positioning into compelling external and internal narratives. This position reports to the Head of Market Intelligence & Communication, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is Hybridlocated in ourHouston, TX office 4days per week and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 40%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Brand & Content Management

  • Owns brand consistency across all Communication outputs including visual identity, messaging, and asset standards for brand assets, templates, and presentations. Manage external creative/video agencies to sustain a weekly content cadence. Maintains full visibility into marketing spend, tracking and preparing marketing budget ROI analysis for Head of Market Intelligence review.

 

 Public Relations & External Positioning

  • Owns Qcells EPC's PR strategy end-to-end, awarded-project announcements, Korea/U.S. press releases supporting Hanwha Solutions IR, sponsorships, media placements, and strategic partnership announcements. Directs weekly LinkedIn content grounded in Market Intelligence findings and co-authors industry leadership interview under the guidance of Head of Market Intelligence & Communication.

 

Exhibition & Industry Events

  • Owns end-to-end planning and execution of Qcells EPC's presence at major industry exhibitions (e.g., RE+, ACP, CERAWeek, Intersolar, the Forum and customer annual events) covering strategy, cost tracking, booth operations, and executive coordination. Excellent management skills of PR release and a post-event ROI report.

 

 

Internal Communication

  • Plans and executes company level meetings and drafts internal communications on market developments, regulatory shifts, and company milestones. Serves as the primary communications point of coordination.
  • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

·          10+ Years of Proven B2B marketing experience,corporate communications, or strategic communications in renewable energyor infrastructure

·          Targeting renewable energy industry customers — direct experience marketing to utility-scale solar developers, EPCs, IPPs, or comparable infrastructure buyers

·          Demonstrated ownership of exhibition strategy and execution at national-scale industry events (RE+, ACP, CERAWeek, Intersolar, or equivalent) from planning through post-event ROI reporting.

·          Strong industry knowledge of the U.S. utility-scale solar market, including IRA provisions, domestic content requirements, FEOC restrictions, and broader federal policy context.

·          Proven track record in PR and media relations, including press release development, media placement, and executive-level corporate positioning.

·          Demonstrated brand management experience, visual identity governance, messaging consistency, and brand asset standards across multiple channels.

·          Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional coordination experience consistent with Part-Lead-level responsibility.

·          Rigorous experience tracking marketing budgets, invoices, and ROI including variance monitoring and structured reporting to leadership.

·          Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·          Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce)and marketing analytics/reporting platforms (Tableau, Power BI).

·          Experience partnering directly with Sales, Market Intelligence or business development functions.
