Senior Manager, On Premise Refreshment

What makes this a great opportunity?

Lead the development, learnings collection and commercial scale up of Suntory Global Spirits' refreshment strategy within the On-Premise channel. Lead the center of excellence for Refreshment Solution to identify customers, test, and scale signature refreshment serves and operational solutions that enhance consumer experience, improve speed-to-service, and drive profitable growth for both customers and SGS brands. The role engages with consumer insights, brand strategy, commercial teams, and key customers to create scalable refreshment programs that can be adopted across priority On-Premise accounts and occasions.

Role Responsibilities

1. Lead Refreshment PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) and Commercial Coaching

• Cross functional collaboration with U.S. and Global Brands, Advocacy, and R&D teams to identify compelling refreshment focused signature serves and speed to service solutions.
• Target key refreshment occasions and consumption moments where SGS brands can win.
• Set clear roadmap and plan for refreshment solution execution across key quantitative and qualitative measures
• Establish structured feedback loops between sales, customers, distributors and brand:
• Lead bi-weekly and monthly meetings with commercial team to prioritize actions that drive business impact.
• Work with D&T to optimize how learnings are gathered from sales through Salesforce.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations and share learnings to organization.
• Foster a test-and-learn culture by encouraging experimentation, rapid learning, and continuous improvement.
• Lead through field engagement, coaching and real-world problem solving rather than relying solely on headquarters-based direction.

2. Support the execution of Refreshment Serves and Speed to Service Solutions

• Work with Strategy, Insights and Channel Development to identify criteria for Refreshment Account targeting and goaling.
• Develop playbooks and activation materials to support customer adoption.
• Oversee best in class execution of marketing programming within the accounts. Ensuring each team's initiatives and customer plans are fully achieved.
• Partner with Field Marketing and Sales to support budget management and effectiveness.
• Ensure serve consistency and robust Trade Education.
• Support Global Brand teams refreshment pilots and share learnings across refreshment pilots.
• Maintains deep connection with frontline teams and customers through regular market visits and direct observation of execution realities.

3. Commercial Scale-up

• Coordinate with U.S. Brands & Commercial leadership to define and evolve the SGS On-Premise refreshment strategy aligned with consumer trends and business priorities.
• Establish best practices and scalable frameworks that can be replicated across markets and accounts
• Work with Channel Development, Channel Marketing and Commercial Marketing to optimize sell sheets and enhance POS to fit customer and consumer needs.
• Ensure serves are commercially viable, operationally efficient, and scalable.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 5-10 years' experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry, proven experience in the spirits category, with deep understanding of its route-to-market dynamics.
• Willing to travel 50%
• Demonstrated success coaching, developing and influencing sales and field teams
• Proven experience designing and implementing commercial capability-building programs, training curricula and field toolkits.
• Experience leading pilot programs and translating field learnings into scalable business practices.
• Experience identifying unmet consumer needs and translating insights into practical commercial solutions.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organization, effectively managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments.
• Bachelor's degree required

Salary Range - The salary range for this role, is $130,000 - 150,000k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset.
