We're looking for a Senior Manager, Product Content Marketing & Digital Merchandising to lead our member communication promoting engagement with Gaia's expanding ecosystem of content, experiences, and products. This role owns the marketing strategy and execution behind how we communicate and promote Gaia across every member touchpoint, creating meaningful journeys that deepen engagement, increase retention,and maximize member value.

You'll develop the strategy that communicates our video library with Gaia+, live events, conferences, Marketplace, Community, Tarot readings, AI experiences, and future offerings. Working across Product, Marketing, Content, Publishing, Analytics, and Design, you'll create cohesive campaigns and discovery experiences across email, onsite merchandising, notifications, and social channels.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role. You'll define the long-term discovery strategy while also leading campaign planning, merchandising calendars, launch execution, performance analysis, and continuous optimization. As Gaia grows, you'll help build the processes and best practices that shape the future of member discovery.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Merchandising Strategy and Execution

• Serve as the voice of the member, Developing and executing compelling launch, ongoing communication, and (re)engagement plans for content, features, and experience on Gaia.
• Define, evolve, and standardize Gaia's content discovery and digital merchandising strategy across all member touchpoints - driving both discovery and re-engagement for active and dormant members.
• Design member journeys that connect content, products, services, and experiences into one cohesive ecosystem.
• Develop strategies and execute them that increase awareness, engagement, and adoption across Gaia's full portfolio of offerings.
• Inform and collaborate with Product to influence onsite member experiences - specific to content discovery capabilities and personalization.
• Create onboarding and early lifecycle communications and value that help new members quickly find relevant content and features that support members in experiencing the full value of their membership.
• Partner with Marketing to link content pathways for new members based on the promises that brought them to Gaia.
• Own the cross-channel merchandising calendar across homepage, collections, email, notifications, Gaia's member FB group, and other member touchpoints.
• Lead execution for new content launches, seasonal campaigns, conferences, promotions, and member experiences.
• Coordinate cross-functional campaign execution to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery.
• Balance business priorities with an exceptional member experience.

Analytics & Optimization

• Analyze member behavior and campaign performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build reporting and deliver against KPIs that measure discovery effectiveness, engagement, and lead to business impact.
• Use AI and data-driven insights to improve the speed of decision-making, and accelerate execution in a lean, agile, way without compromising quality.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Content, Publishing, Analytics, Creative, and Growth teams.
• Align stakeholders around a unified content marketing strategy for members.
• Champion a member-first approach across every touchpoint.
• Help establish scalable processes as Gaia continues to expand its ecosystem.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy and execution, content marketing to consumer , digital media, streaming, ecommerce, subscription businesses, or related fields.
• Experience developing discovery, merchandising, lifecycle, or engagement strategies that improve customer experience and business performance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, planning, and decision-making.
• Proficiency with BI tools, GA4, SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Passion for Gaia's mission and creating meaningful member experiences.

Compensation

• Type: Salary
• Range: $100000 - $140000 (USD)
