As a Sr. Manager, Product Management - Technical in FinTech Accounting Technology team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Accounting products and solutions that empower businesses and individuals to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of tax/Accounting regulations and compliance requirements. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and technical roadmap for our innovative tax product suite. You will lead a dynamic team of Product Managers, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex tax requirements into robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. Your expertise in product management will be instrumental in delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. As a thought leader in the tax technology domain, you will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team. You will mentor and develop technical talent, encouraging them to push boundaries and embrace innovative approaches to solving complex Accounting challenges. Key job responsibilities A successful candidate will have led product organization, built and scaled high performing technical product teams, be familiar with operational best practices, be dedicated to diversity and inclusivity, have world class business acumen to be stubborn about the long-term vision, flexible on the implementation details, and clever in driving short term, incremental results. About the team The Finance Technology Tax team builds technology to support Amazon's global tax teams (our customers). Our customers need to ensure that Amazon is compliant with the increasingly complex tax regulations. We build systems to enable our customers to perform tax functions including, calculations, payments, filing, tax audits, and recovery at the scale demanded by Amazon's business operations. We prioritize solutions based on our ability to deliver exponential value in the following four dimensions: 1) supporting business growth while reducing cost to serve 2) ensuring compliance and reducing risk 3) improving customer experience, and 4) providing accurate, complete, and timely data. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - 6+ years of team management experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
