Senior Manager, Real Estate Strategic Planning

Description & Requirements

The Real Estate Strategic Planning Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of Forvis Mazars' national real estate strategy, overseeing leasing and facilities initiatives that support the firm's operational and growth objectives. With approximately 75 offices across the United States and more than 20 active real estate projects underway at any given time, this role is critical to ensuring the firm's real estate portfolio aligns with business needs and long-term strategic goals.

This position requires strong collaboration with leaders across the organization to drive informed real estate decisions. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strategic metrics to evaluate leasing, renewal, relocation, and buildout opportunities; guiding stakeholders through planning, site tours, market evaluations, and decision-making processes; coordinating communication among internal and external partners; and providing project-level updates as well as enterprise-wide reporting on real estate performance and portfolio metrics.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the Firm's real estate portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, workforce planning, and growth initiatives
• Direct market evaluations, site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and portfolio optimization efforts through broker and advisor relationships
• Evaluate and recommend leasing, acquisition, and workplace solutions based on financial, operational, and strategic considerations
• Oversee portfolio governance, lease administration, and data integrity across all real estate assets
• Partner with Real Estate Delivery and Operations leadership to ensure successful execution of workplace and facility projects
• Lead portfolio analytics, forecasting, and executive reporting to support business planning and decision-making
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and key performance metrics for portfolio performance and utilization
• Communicate real estate strategies, business cases, and recommendations to executive leadership, regional & local leaders and other stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 10+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
