Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations

Position Summary

PNY Technologies is seeking a highly analytical, entrepreneurial, and commercially minded Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations to help evaluate and scale strategic growth initiatives across technology infrastructure, contract manufacturing, managed inventory, supply chain services, and strategic partnerships.

This role will partner across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to develop financial models, evaluate investments and commercial opportunities, and translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Business Modeling

• Develop sophisticated financial models and business cases for new ventures, infrastructure programs, manufacturing initiatives, managed inventory solutions, and strategic partnerships.

• Evaluate revenue, margins, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, capital requirements, and return on invested capital.

• Conduct scenario analyses, sensitivity modeling, and risk assessments to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

• Identify key value drivers and translate findings into clear business recommendations.

Commercial & Operational Partnership

• Evaluate customer proposals, pricing strategies, RFPs, supply agreements, manufacturing partnerships, and other complex commercial opportunities.

• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, and Demand Planning to assess sourcing, production, inventory, capacity, and fulfillment strategies.

• Translate operational decisions into financial outcomes and identify opportunities to improve profitability, scalability, and execution.

• Support negotiations by assessing deal economics, capital requirements, and long-term risk.

Working Capital & Inventory Strategy

• Analyze inventory ownership, utilization, turns, aging, obsolescence, financing, and cost of capital.

• Develop recommendations to improve working capital, cash flow, inventory productivity, and capital efficiency.

• Evaluate the economics of hardware, infrastructure deployment, service, support, and product lifecycles.

• Provide leadership with actionable insights regarding inventory risk and capital deployment.

Executive Decision Support

• Prepare business cases, investment analyses, dashboards, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

• Present complex financial and operational information in a concise, decision-ready format.

• Support annual planning, strategic investments, business expansion, and performance-improvement initiatives.

• Constructively challenge assumptions and influence decisions through data-driven insights.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, supply chain finance, business operations, or a related discipline.

• Experience leading complex financial analyses and providing recommendations to senior leadership.

• Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of working capital, cash flow, inventory economics, and capital allocation.

• Experience evaluating complex commercial arrangements or capital-intensive business opportunities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, executive communication, and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to operate independently and bring structure to evolving or ambiguous business challenges.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable business intelligence platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.

• Experience in technology, hardware, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, data center infrastructure, or AI infrastructure.

• Experience supporting new, rapidly growing, inventory-intensive, or capital-intensive business initiatives.

• Experience evaluating strategic partnerships, customer contracts, or long-term supply agreements.

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
