The client is seeking a
Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead the supply chain function at its Columbus, Nebraska manufacturing site. This person will be part of the
Plant Leadership Team and will develop and execute the site's supply chain strategy.
The role oversees
production planning, material management, procurement, sterilization, warehousing, logistics, and distribution while ensuring the plant meets service, quality, safety, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the plant's monthly S&OP process and capacity planning.
- Develop and manage Master Production Schedules (MPS).
- Oversee MRP and ensure availability of raw materials and production components.
- Lead procurement of materials, products, and services.
- Manage inventory, warehouse space, and movement of materials.
- Oversee sterilization operations, including capacity planning, scheduling, material handling, and shipping.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, distribution, and inter-plant transportation.
- Develop and maintain supply chain processes and systems.
- Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement in material flow and supply chain performance.
- Develop strategies to reduce supply chain costs and improve operating efficiency.
- Lead procurement savings initiatives.
- Manage inventory and working capital targets.
- Partner with Finance on inventory, excess, and obsolete materials.
- Work closely with Global Procurement on supplier performance and improvement.
- Partner with Quality to ensure supplier regulatory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Operations on production schedules, equipment efficiency, material availability, and demand requirements.
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain team through coaching and performance management.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture.
- Participate as a member of the Plant Leadership Team.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, regulatory, safety, and company requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS

Senior Manager, Supply Chain who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Senior Manager, Supply Chain would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 7+ years of Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management experience.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and team-building capabilities.
- Proficiency with supply chain systems and computer applications.
- Knowledge of:
- S&OP
- MRP
- Master Production Scheduling
- Inventory Management
- Procurement
- Warehouse Operations
- Transportation & Logistics
- Order Fulfillment
- Understanding and practical experience with Lean and Six Sigma.
Preferred- MBA
- Experience managing people leaders, hourly production employees, and technical teams.
- Manufacturing/plant supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
