Description

This Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading and directing manufacturing process development and continuous improvement activities.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Designing and improving tooling, fixtures, and production methods for high-reliability aerospace hardware.
  • Providing technical guidance and training to production teams and supervisors.Collaborating with engineering, quality, supply chain, testing, and program management teams.
  • Implementing statistical process controls and driving product quality improvements.
  • Planning manufacturing process activities to align with production schedules and operational needs.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and ordering tooling, materials, and equipment to support operations.

Profile

A Successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally within aerospace, defense, or space industries.
  • Experience supporting propulsion, flight hardware, or other high-reliability products.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing best practices.
  • Experience with CAD tools and MES platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with thermal/vacuum systems, optical alignment, or spaceflight hardware preferred.
