Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI Pegasus hoist manufacturing and qualification activities, including manufacturing documentation, assembly/testing support, tooling, troubleshooting, and qualification-unit modifications.
Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer Location: Anaheim, CA
Key Responsibilities
Generate Shop Orders / Manufacturing Routers to assemble and test NPI hoists using engineering documentation.
Create visual assembly instructions and job aids to support assembly and testing.
Generate Shop Orders to process, convert, or modify qualification units during testing.
Work with the Material Review Board (MRB) to generate Shop Orders for rework, repair, or modification of qualification units.
Design or modify tooling and assembly aids, including mechanical tooling and electrical test equipment.
Provide shop floor support by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues during assembly, testing, and qualification.
Resolve, document, and communicate technical issues and solutions.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations, certification standards, and applicable requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of experience in a regulated industry, such as Aerospace, Medical Devices, or Oil & Gas.
Proficient in creating Shop Orders, Work Orders, and Manufacturing Routers.
Experience with shop floor management / ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, PRISM, ERP, MRP, or similar.
Experience with manufacturing and testing electromechanical assemblies.
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
Experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits and PCB design.
Experience with design, analysis, testing, and simulation of controls.
Preferred Skills
Experience driving AC, DC, and brushless motors for military or commercial aerospace equipment, systems, or subsystems.
Familiarity with ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, and/or MIL-STD-810.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing, environmental testing standards, and safety protocols.
