Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Machining & Tooling

GNR has been retained by a small, well-established, and growing CNC Machining / Build-To-Print organization seeking a SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to help continue the ongoing growth of the company located in the OSHKOSH, WI area.

This role brings visibility and rewards! We are seeking an individual who’s able to take a lead role to ensure engineering and manufacturing initiatives are completed.

• You’ll bring a strong background in CNC machining & tool design with the ability to make process improvements.
• Be a key decision-maker, responsible for optimizing workflows, implementing new technologies, and enhancing production workflow and quality.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Design and develop fixtures, tooling and jigs to accommodate manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, engineering changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product discrepancies and resolve assembly issues.
• Support business development activities to successfully quote jobs, and what's required for new bids.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity, while reducing non-value-added activities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Unigraphics, Creo, ProE, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) with CNC programming abilities (MasterCam, G-Code).
