Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA) in an engineering related field from four-year college or university plus 7 to 10 years minimum experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
Metal Forming Experience:
Experience in the design of dies and tools for forming metal. Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and concerns. Experience in developing training for engineers, maintenance, and production personnel. Ability to develop preventative maintenance programs. Experience in purchasing capital equipment and running capital projects.
Language Skills:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and make presentations and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables for problem solving.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, the qualified individual should be proficient in the use of Microsoft suite applications, CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and ERP Systems (JD Edwards preferred).

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
