Electromechanical Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Leading electromechanical assembly processes to ensure high-quality production.
- Supporting manufacturing transfer projects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows.
- Developing and executing validation protocols in accordance with industry standards.
- Traveling to oversee transfer activities and production setups.
- Managing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
- Documenting manufacturing processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime and enhance quality.
- Mentoring junior team members to promote a culture of learning.
- Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications for process compliance.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or advanced operations within electromechanical assembly environments.
- Proven track record in managing manufacturing or process transfer projects, including validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), FAT, and SAT.
- Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies, scrap reduction, and process optimization.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and AS400.
- Solid understanding of electrical and electronic test systems, software configuration, and electromechanical assembly processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with supplier quality auditing and control plan development.
- Background in handling device validation, cleanroom protocols, and system validation.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards beyond medical devices, such as FDA or ISO regulations.
- Familiarity with Windchill, onePLM, or similar product lifecycle management tools.
