Introduction to the JobThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Solid-State Power Pulse Modules (SSPPM) supports high‑reliability, high-voltage electronics manufacturing and testing by ensuring stable, capable, and cost‑efficient production processes. This role focuses on manufacturing process engineering, continuous improvement, and process control for power distribution systems in a high‑technology manufacturing environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn your role as Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality outcomes. You work closely with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering.Own and sustain solid‑state power-pulse module (SSPPM) manufacturing processes to ensure stable quality, yield, and throughput.Monitor and improve process performance using data analysis (yield trends, defect paretos, process capability/Cpk).Apply statistical and structured problem‑solving methods (SPC, DOE, FMEA) to identify root causes, reduce variation, and ensure process capability.Lead troubleshooting of complex electro‑mechanical system build and test issues; drive containment, corrective actions, and prevention of recurrence.Partner cross‑functionally with Quality, Production, and Design Engineering to resolve non‑conformances and improve product robustness.Maintain and continuously improve manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard work, and control plans.Execute change management activities (COs, TDNs) to ensure controlled and compliant process updates.Identify and implement improvements to yield, cycle time, cost, and equipment performance using Lean manufacturing principles.Support equipment optimization, tooling improvements, and preventive maintenance strategies.Provide hands‑on support in production and cleanroom environments to validate process changes and drive execution.Train and support production personnel on system‑level assembly, integration, and test processes.Other duties as assigned; job description subject to change at any timeEducation and ExperienceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related Engineering field.5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in power distribution, electronics or precision electro‑mechanical assemblies.Experience with statistical methods including SPC, DOE, FMEA, and process capability analysis.Hands‑on experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing processes in a production environment.Familiarity with documentation control, BOM structures, and change management processes.Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Excel, or similar).Preferred QualificationsExperience working with high‑voltage power systems, lithography, or complex hardware systems.Lean Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training.Experience with automated test systems and metrology equipment.SkillsYou bring a passion for problem‑solving and teamwork to the Manufacturing Engineer position. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.The Company offers employees and their families medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and thirteen (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
