
Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer drives operational efficiency within an electronics assembly and test environment, with a strong focus on PCB manufacturing. This role leads major continuous improvement initiatives, oversees manufacturing and test engineering activities, and ensures that production processes comply with IPC and industry standards. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer works closely with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to develop and enhance manufacturing processes, support new product introduction, and resolve complex production issues. Acting as a technical liaison for customers, OEMs, vendors, and suppliers, this position plays a key role in shaping manufacturing engineering strategies and supporting the organization's long-term operational capabilities.

Work Environment
The role is based onsite in a manufacturing facility with roughly 200 employees, where the Senior Manufacturing Engineer directly oversees a team of approximately five engineers. The environment centers on electronics and PCB assembly and test operations, utilizing technologies such as SMT equipment, wave soldering systems, and ERP/MRP platforms, along with tools from vendors including the person, Universal, and MyChronic. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with flexible start times, with the latest start at 8:00 a.m. The work setting is highly collaborative, involving regular interaction with operations, supply chain, marketing, accounting, manufacturing, PCB layout, customers, and suppliers, and emphasizes continuous improvement, technical excellence, and professional development.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
