Job Description
Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will:
- Lead the transfer of new products and manufacturing processes into production environments.
- Manage multiple manufacturing and product development projects from launch through commercialization.
- Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production methods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, capacity, and safety.
- Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to support technical project execution.
- Provide day-to-day production support by troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.
- Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
- Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Lead validation activities including equipment qualification and process validation protocols.
- Support equipment commissioning, preventative maintenance programs, and process readiness activities.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Prepare engineering reports, project updates, and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with quality, operations, development, and production teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Drive best practices in manufacturing, process control, and operational excellence.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and product development processes.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using statistical analysis tools such as DOE, regression analysis, process capability studies, and ANOVA.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and experience designing tooling or fixtures.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Experience leading process validation activities and manufacturing documentation development.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
