Job TitleDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase yield, reduce waste, improve quality, and optimize production performance.Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions to resolve process and production challenges.Mentor and support production personnel to drive consistency, quality, and operational excellence.Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction.Specify, assess, and maintain manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures to ensure reliable operation and safe performance.Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and technical reports.Partner with engineering, quality, research, and production teams to support new product launches and manufacturing scale-up activities.Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality management systems, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.Conduct risk assessments and support safety initiatives across manufacturing operations.Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to improve process capability and product quality.The successful applicant will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may also be considered.Several years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience within advanced manufacturing, injection molding, composites, ceramics, casting, or similar process-driven environments.Experience improving manufacturing processes through data analysis, statistical methods, and root-cause investigation.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.Experience utilizing SPC, DOE, and other process optimization techniques.Familiarity with CAD software and tooling or fixture design.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams.Prior experience working within regulated manufacturing or aerospace-related environments is advantageous.A proactive mindset, leadership capability, and a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.What's on offer includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience and expertise, bonus opportunity as part of the total rewards package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, generous paid time off and company holidays, ongoing training and professional development opportunities to support long-term career growth, opportunity to work on advanced manufacturing technologies within a collaborative and innovation-driven organization, and exposure to high-impact engineering projects and the ability to influence process performance, product quality, and operational success.
