Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong machining background to support production operations through process development, continuous improvement, and technical problem solving. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machining, process optimization, tooling, and production support within a high-precision manufacturing environment. Experience in aerospace manufacturing is strongly preferred. This role will work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing processes.What You\'ll DoDevelop, implement, and improve machining processes for new and existing productsProvide hands-on support to production to resolve machining, tooling, and process issuesCreate and maintain work instructions, process sheets, and standard work documentationLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and costSupport new product introduction (NPI) including fixture design, tooling selection, and process validationOptimize CNC programs, feeds, speeds, and tooling to improve efficiency and reduce scrapWork with Quality to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with maintenance and operators to improve equipment reliability and uptimeSupport capital equipment selection, justification, installation, and validationEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including aerospace quality standards when applicableYou haveBachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a machining environmentStrong knowledge of CNC machining (mills, lathes, multi-axis preferred)Experience with process development, tooling, fixturing, and cycle time reductionAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TExperience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work on the production floor in a hands-on capacityThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required.
