Description
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations, troubleshooting technical issues and driving corrective actions.
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing systems to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Develop and maintain CNC machining programs using industry-standard programming software.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process capability.
- Lead product and process validation activities while supporting regulatory and quality requirements.
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
- Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with quality, operations, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall performance.
- Analyze manufacturing data and recommend process improvements to support operational excellence.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and established industry requirements.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong background in machining, grinding, CNC programming, and precision manufacturing processes.
- Experience within medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated industry preferred.
- Expertise in tooling, fixture design, process development, and manufacturing optimization.
- Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling software and manufacturing engineering tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems, process validation, and engineering documentation.
- Proven project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
