Description
Growing electro/mechanical components manufacturing company has an opening for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer on a direct-hire basis.
Duties:
Oversee the execution of New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring seamless transition from concept to full-scale production
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes
Oversee process improvement initiatives – includes implementing continuous improvements for existing products and manufacturing processes, focusing on optimizing performance, cost-efficiency, and quality
Maintain and enhance product quality by ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process optimization, Lean manufacturing techniques, and strategic supplier management
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, quality engineers, production personnel, and suppliers
Manage product models and assembly processes
Lead FMEA activities
Research and develop new processes, equipment, tools and fixtures
Participate in engineering design reviews, focusing on cost and manufacturability
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
8+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
Strong experience in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product development
Experience with new product introductions and continuous improvement
