Description

Growing electro/mechanical components manufacturing company has an opening for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer on a direct-hire basis.

Duties:

  • Oversee the execution of New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring seamless transition from concept to full-scale production
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Oversee process improvement initiatives – includes implementing continuous improvements for existing products and manufacturing processes, focusing on optimizing performance, cost-efficiency, and quality
  • Maintain and enhance product quality by ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process optimization, Lean manufacturing techniques, and strategic supplier management
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, quality engineers, production personnel, and suppliers
  • Manage product models and assembly processes
  • Lead FMEA activities
  • Research and develop new processes, equipment, tools and fixtures
  • Participate in engineering design reviews, focusing on cost and manufacturability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • 8+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
  • Strong experience in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product development
  • Experience with new product introductions and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with Solidworks
  • ISO 9001 knowledge
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Salary: $110-165K
