Key Responsibilities:- Supporting New Product development projects by leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off-the-shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
- Developing custom inspection fixtures and equipment, including mechanical setups, LabView software development, and machine learning integration.
- Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, and PPAP documents.
- Creating prints for components used in product repair.
- Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection and FAI of product components.
- Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection.
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing support, fixture design, or equipment validation.
- Familiarity with medical devices, minimally invasive procedures, or healthcare products is advantageous.
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and component prints.
- Extensive experience with fixture and equipment assembly and testing.
- Strong documentation skills for manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, and PPAP documents.
- Demonstrated success supporting manufacturing lines, troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently after a training period of approximately 30 days.
- Prior experience with building custom fixtures or equipment in a medical device or related industry is essential.
