The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division.

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

What You'll Work On

• Provide day to day maintenance and technical support for Abbott Vascular New Brighton Operations. Perform assigned duties and tasks with limited supervision. Assure functionality and regulatory compliance of production equipment.

What You'll Do

• Perform Preventive Maintenance activities for all production equipment throughout the New Brighton site, documenting detailed maintenance work orders in specified systems

• Provide technical and maintenance assistance and complete assignments in selected areas to optimize equipment performance.

• Perform troubleshooting, equipment failure diagnosis, parts selection, reassembly of equipment and equipment start up oversite.

• Maintain spare parts inventory for site.

• Oversee maintenance and repair work by equipment supplier technicians within the New Brighton site.

• Perform tasks per all applicable regulatory requirements including safety and quality requirements.

• The Technician works with limited supervision and must make decisions to prevent serious quality, safety and environmental problems.

• Errors in judgement or failure to follow rules and procedures could result in serious safety or compliance issues and/or could cause significant equipment or property damage.

Required Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma / GED

or

Technical Diploma (± 12 years)

Completion/certification or equivalent preferred.

Experience/Background

Experience

Minimum 2 years

Maintenance, operations or technical support role is required.

     

The base pay for this position is

$27.85 – $55.65/hour

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
