Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr Manager for the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) senior leadership team. Our team is responsible for overseeing manufacturing planning operations, including MRP activities, buy planning, material master data, warehousing, logistics, and transportation.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner Sr Manager you will be responsible for driving end‑to‑end manufacturing planning excellence across the organization. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Own and execute Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) activities such as buy planning, material master data, warehousing, logistics, and transportation.
• Partner with production, engineering, quality, finance, and supply‑chain teams to align planning strategies with business goals.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance affordability while maintaining performance and quality.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team through recruitment, training programs, performance assessments, and recognition.
• Provide senior‑level insight and reporting to the PP&C Director and other executive stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• Experience

• 8-12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain or operations management

• Minimum 3 years leading multi-disciplined teams

• Technical Proficiency

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Strong analytical skills, KPI dashboard creation, and data‑governance knowledge.

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $168600.00 - $313200.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $151800.00 - $281800.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $134900.00 - $250500.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $121400.00 - $225400.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
