Senior Market Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Market Data Analyst with 8-10 years of experience to manage market data financial operations and administration, focusing on invoice reconciliation, billing validation, platform management, and financial reporting in a dynamic financial operations environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Manage market data financial operations including invoice reconciliation, billing validation, accruals, forecasting, budgeting, and General Ledger allocation
• Maintain and administer the Market Data Management (MDM) platform, ensuring inventory accuracy, entitlement administration, and service ownership
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies, validate contracts, and support audit activities
• Produce recurring and ad hoc management reporting, spend analysis, variance reporting, and operational metrics
• Execute reconciliations, variance analysis, and invoice processing to maintain financial accuracy and transparency
• Support onboarding/offboarding activities and regulatory reporting requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for market data governance and financial controls

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in market data administration, financial operations, or related roles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex financial modeling
• Strong knowledge of Market Data Management platforms, FITS, and ERP systems
• PeopleSoft experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively across internal teams and external vendors
• US Citizenship or Green Card required
