The Opportunity:
As the Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will lead the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies and serves as the project manager for major initiatives, providing key strategic insights that guide execution.
In this position, you will lead marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives; collaborates with the Director on the annual marketing and communications plan and unit‑level plans; and oversees the development of marketing tools, research, and analytics. In partnership with the Director and specialized team members in web, graphic design, photography, and videography, you will guide strategic storytelling opportunities across marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, website content, multimedia projects, and advertising campaigns.
Additional responsibilities include leading social media strategy, managing internal communications channels, developing presentations and promotional materials, supporting public relations efforts, coordinating market research, and managing outbound communications and analytics through customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Monthly Salary: $4,508.70- $6,763.06 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field AND three (3) years of professional level experience in marketing, promotional or related work. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
Experience with web/HTML, e-mail marketing tools, presentation software, social media channels, and Google Analytics.
Strong proofreading skills and attention to details.
Demonstrated experience in developing marketing and communications plans, assessing and analyzing outcomes, and researching new market strategies and solutions or related work.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education or similar institutional setting.
Advanced degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or other related field.
Demonstrated successful marketing and promotion experience in healthcare, education, or other related field.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects independently and with specific deadlines.
