What You’ll Tackle
- Develop cradle-to-launch machining strategies for complex medical parts
- Program, set up, and optimize Variaxis and Integrex platforms
- Create Mazatrol and Mastercam programs
- Run setups, prove-outs, FAIs, and validation support
- Specify tooling, fixturing, and workholding
- Diagnose and correct machining and process issues
- Drive down cycle times and waste while boosting efficiency
- Read and apply drawings, GD&T, surface finish specs, and revision levels
- Mentor machinists to ensure consistent, on-time performance
Parts and Materials
Medical components with tight tolerances, critical geometries, and high-end surface finishes. You’ll work in stainless steel, titanium, specialty alloys, and engineering plastics.
What You Bring
- 5+ years programming in precision manufacturing
- Expertise in Mazatrol and Mastercam
- Proven experience with Mazak Variaxis and/or Integrex setups and programming
- Independent capability to program, set up, prove out, and launch production
- Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T
- Deep knowledge of machining math, tooling, workholding, and process development
- Quality-minded with strong inspection know-how
