    Description

    SHIFT: Day

    EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer for our client leading the way in innovative nuclear energy technology.

    Produce CAD models in SolidWorks and develop, maintain, and review complex mechanical designs.

    Use model configurations to support analysis needs.

    Document design progress, changes, and decisions.

    Create and review engineering drawings per ASME standards.

    Perform tolerance stack up calculations.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    15 years of experience designing and drafting complex mechanical systems.

    CAD proficiency in SolidWorks.

    Demonstrated experience with GD&T.

    Experience with DFM and DFA.

    Background in mechanical and machine design.

    Experience using a PDM system.

    BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

    Nuclear equipment design experience.

    Experience with oversight of supplier engineering and manufacturing vendors.
