Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum educational qualifications:
A Bachelor''s degree or equivalent academic qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field of study.
Minimum Experience:
At least 5 or more years of relevant work experience after completion of academics.
Other job-specific skills:
Should be able to introduce new ideas, to improve CAD processes and data workflows.
Curious and motivated to learn new digital engineering tools, including CAD, PLM, and AI-based solutions. Be willing to question current CAD methods to improve consistency and efficiency.
Be able to troubleshoot complex CAD, data, and workflow issues while working with crossfunctional teams.
Be skilled in data analysis.
Communicates clearly and effectively with designers, IT partners, and management.
Makes sound decisions and solves problems related to CAD systems, processes, and data.
Comfortable working with changing requirements and evolving systems.
Able to prioritize multiple CAD-related tasks with limited guidance.
Works effectively with associates and management internal and across regions, including collaboration with Japan counterparts.
Uses data and system metrics to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
Ability to appropriately manage confidential information.
Creative, outside the box thinking.
Curiosity and motivation to learn new innovative tools and methods.
Not afraid to challenge the current accepted methods and processes.
