- Manage engineering scope, schedule, budget, priorities, and day-to-day communication for assigned projects.
- Coordinate directly with clients and internal partners, including account managers, estimators, project managers, VDC, construction teams, designers, and other engineering disciplines.
- Perform site surveys, document existing conditions, evaluate building systems, and troubleshoot operational or performance issues.
- Prepare clear technical reports and engineering studies, including condition assessments, feasibility evaluations, and energy audits.
- Apply applicable building codes, energy codes, industry standards, and sound engineering practices to produce accurate and complete deliverables.
- Review designs for technical accuracy, coordination, constructability, maintainability, and alignment with project requirements.
- Delegate work and provide technical direction, review, and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, modelers/drafters, and interns.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction-phase discussions.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and on time.
- Provide clients and internal teams with timely, clear, and practical technical guidance.
- Identify and address project risks, design conflicts, scope gaps, and schedule concerns collaboratively.
- Provide effective direction, feedback, and growth opportunities to junior team members.
- Ensure design decisions reflect both engineering requirements and real-world installation, operation, and maintenance considerations.
