A Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing mechanical design and engineering support for refrigeration truck and trailer units, with a focus on product development, cost reduction, and design optimization. The role involves developing and optimizing 3D CAD models and engineering drawings, performing CAE/FEA structural, vibration, and fatigue analysis, supporting ECNs, and implementing cost-effective design improvements. The engineer also leads Design to Value (DTV), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), material optimization, and design rationalization activities while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to validate savings, ensure design robustness, and support project reviews.
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reviews and status reporting.
Prepare technical documentation, design change summaries, and management presentations.
Participate in stakeholder meetings, follow-ups, and closure activities.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
