This is a remote opportunity with a preference that candidates be located in the NortheastWhat you'll own:- Lead 10-year sustainability and decarbonization plans for health-system clients — from benchmarking through funded, verified ECMs — cutting energy, carbon, and operating cost.
- Own retro-commissioning and energy modeling across central plant, air handling, terminal equipment, and energy management systems, using our custom modeling software.
- Develop investment-grade ECMs and sustainable MEP standards that clients adopt as their own.
- Serve as the client- and construction-facing lead through implementation and commissioning, and present findings and recommendations directly to owners.
- Secure efficiency incentives through utility technical-assistance studies.
- Shape the AI/ML tooling that scales our analysis, and mentor the engineers coming up behind you.
What you'll bring:- Must have: Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering; 10–15 years of experience; Professional Engineering license; deep energy-modeling and retro-commissioning experience; a track record developing ROI-driven ECMs; availability to travel as needed (~20%).
- Nice to have: Healthcare or other mission-critical facility experience; investment-grade audits; automation or tool-building; proficiency in Revit and eQUEST; ASHRAE/IBPSA involvement.
