Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Permanent position for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to mentor junior staff and conduct and supervise all design and construction phases (including design calculations, equipment selection, and review of work by designers and junior engineers).Work directly with client to evaluate existing systems and develop design concepts and criteria based on goals and budgets.Design new mechanical systems, assuring compliance with codes and standards.Duties include generating project specifications, process submittals and proposals and conducting construction field reviews and investigations.Perform energy payback analysis.Manage project and staff to ensure project tasks are completed while maintaining project quality, schedules and budgets.Maintain and manage client and contractor relationships including presentations.Work with other senior mechanical engineers to ensure deliverables are met.Qualifications BS Mechanical Engineering.Registered PE (professional engineer). 10+ years of experience with mechanical systems design of buildings.Must have managerial experience mentoring junior staff.Experience and knowledge of engineering calculation software and equipment selection programs.Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit.#J-18808-Ljbffr
