What You'll Be Doing

• Lead with expertise - Drive mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) from early concept through construction
• Solve complex challenges - Evaluate system options and deliver solutions that balance performance, sustainability, and cost
• Collaborate across disciplines - Partner with architects, engineers, and designers to create fully integrated building systems
• Own project delivery - Develop detailed models and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Stay connected in the field - Conduct site visits, support construction, and ensure designs are executed as intended
• Guide construction efforts - Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and resolve field issues with confidence
• Mentor future talent - Coach and develop junior engineers while elevating overall team performance
• Engage with clients - Act as a trusted advisor, building relationships and contributing to project success
• Support growth - Play a role in proposals, business development, and the future direction of the mechanical team

What You Bring to the Table

• PE license and 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and controls
• Advanced Revit skills and proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with load modeling tools like TRACE 3D
• Deep knowledge of building systems, energy codes, and design standards
• Hands-on construction administration and field experience
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor others, and manage complex work
• Strong communication skills-you can explain technical ideas clearly to anyone

What Gives You an Edge

• Experience with sustainable design and LEED projects (LEED AP a plus)
• Exposure to healthcare, data centers, R&D, or large commercial projects
• Strong skills in system sizing, load calculations, and energy modeling

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
