Pay Range: $150,000 – $170,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of HVAC and Plumbing design experience. This role provides leadership in mechanical engineering and design, manages projects, and represents the mechanical discipline in client meetings. You will mentor junior engineers, oversee system design, and ensure quality standards across commercial projects.
HVAC and Plumbing design for commercial projects
Project leadership: manage work plans, mentor engineers, and guide design teams
**Systems selection *and* basis of design**
Attend and lead client meetings
Coordinate mechanical/plumbing design with other disciplines
Provide construction phase support (submittal review, RFI response)
Maintain and improve mechanical/plumbing standards
Ensure** quality control **of work products
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of mechanical/plumbing design experience
Proficiency in **Revit **and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with** Trane Trace load calculation** software
Strong communication skills for client and team interaction
Proven experience in commercial projects
Base pay: $150,000 – $170,000 annually (approx. $72 – $82/hour)
