  • Adhere to TAIT safety and quality standards while continually looking for opportunities for improvement
  • Apply TAIT design and engineering principles and best practices
  • Monitor the markets and industries that TAIT serves
  • Understand the underlying physics of complex problems with the ability to apply these to real-work applications
  • Analyze designs utilizing hand calculations, custom tools, and analysis software with the ability to communicate results effectively in a collaborative fast paced environment
  • Engineer structures, machinery, and rigging systems to meet specific requirements of clients, local jurisdictions, and/or applicable standards and codes
  • Support bid teams with engineering validation of components and custom solutions with minimal supervision
  • Gain awareness of project pipeline and how to schedule activities appropriately
  • Apply industry systems and TAIT assets to projects with no supervision
  • Interact with clients, suppliers, external professional bodies, and contractors with no supervision
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis results to project design teams aiding in the development and execution of projects
  • Manage activities of outside resources/third-party engineering firms regarding assigned functions on projects
  • Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company and direct supervisor
  • Collaborate with all departments in a design and manufacturing environment
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required
  • Regularly monitor department and organization communications
Behavioral Competencies
