If you’re a mechanical engineer with strong Creo experience and have worked on complex systems like structures, mechanisms, or defense-related hardware, this is the kind of role where your designs move beyond concept and into real-world application. This position is ideal for someone who can take ownership of mechanical design work, solve engineering problems, and support products from development through production.
Research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and related devices
Perform technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex engineering problems using specialized equipment and software
Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, models, and test data to ensure compliance with engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements
Create and maintain product parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric
Develop and revise technical documentation and contribute to technical papers and presentations
Provide technical support to production activities and deliver presentations as needed
Perform engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, testing, and product assurance tasks for assigned portions of larger projects
Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturing or machine shops to ensure designs are manufacturable
Maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
Stay current with engineering practices, tools, and industry trends
Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
Provide input to project plans, including schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Skills Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience, or M.S. degree with at least 2 years of experience
Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably Creo or Pro-E
Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems
Experience working with internal or external manufacturing or machine shops
Skills Preferred
Familiarity with military and commercial design standards
Knowledge of current engineering tools and technologies
Experience working in a military or defense production environment
Experience developing precision assembly tooling
