Senior Mechanical Piping Coordinator/VDC Technician

Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors MMC is seeking an experienced leader with mechanical and plumbing expertise to join our dynamic team as a Senior Mechanical Piping CoordinatorVDC Technician. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment can work independently while modeling and is dedicated to enhancing the constructability of mechanical and plumbing designs. This fast-paced position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of projects identifying potential issues before construction begins to improve project execution and deliver value to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesReview plumbing and mechanical construction documents and submittals to create corresponding construction models.Coordinate mechanical and plumbing systems using fabrication parts in Revit and Navis.Produce field installation drawings and reports for field and fabrication shop use.Maintain close communication with field teams fabrication team and project managers.Lead mechanical and plumbing teams in project coordination meetings.Set up projects in Revit.Perform intermediate family editing in Revit.Minimum RequirementsAssociates degree or certification in Computer-Aided Design CAD Drafting Engineering Technology or a related field not necessary if proficiency in Revit and Navis is demonstrated.Minimum of 5 years of experience.Knowledge of mechanical HVAC duct and piping systems materials installation.Knowledge of plumbing systems materials installation.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Design or field experience is strongly recommended but not necessary.Experience with the following softwareAutoCAD Fabrication recommendedHigh intermediate to expert Revit knowledgeHigh intermediate Navisworks Manage knowledgeAutodesk Construction CloudEvolve Mechanical a plusBluebeamMicrosoft ExcelOutlookEffective written and verbal communication skills.SalaryBenefitsEstimated Salary range of 82000 to 112000 depending on experience plus annual incentive bonus tied to company performanceMedical Dental and Vision InsurancePTOHoliday PackageEmployee Stock Purchase Plan ESPPProfit Sharing PlanMatching 401KErgonomic work stationsIncentives for environmentally-friendly behaviorCompany OverviewIts whats INSIDE that counts...From immense construction projects that involve complex mechanical systems to custom service projects that require faster builds and reliable 24-hour service Metropolitan Mechanical Contractor Inc.
