Is this you?

  • Do you love chasing down the root cause of a failure—electrical, mechanical, or controls—and fixing it right the first time?
  • Can you move seamlessly from a high-voltage diagnostic to a precision alignment, then jump on a lathe to fabricate a needed part?
  • Are you energized by mentoring others and turning data from predictive tools into smarter maintenance plans?

What you'll do (in plain terms)

  • Break-fix mastery: Observe machines in operation, isolate faults, tear down as needed, repair/replace parts, adjust/calibrate controls, and validate performance with electrical/mechanical tests.
  • Preventive done right: Partner with the Planner/Scheduler to refine PMs so they actually prevent downtime.
  • Shop skills: Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools; perform welding when required.
  • Reliability mindset: Select parts/supplies that balance cost and longevity; lead and contribute to continuous improvement using proven CI tools.
  • Systems thinking: Troubleshoot sophisticated control systems across software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Data-driven: Apply predictive technologies, trend the results, and recommend actions before failures happen.
  • Documentation: Keep CMMS histories tight and actionable; analyze records to drive better decisions.
  • Growth & leadership: Train junior techs, share expertise on projects, and invest in ongoing learning.
  • Safety always: Follow all policies and procedures with strong situational awareness.

What we expect you already have

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree (technical) plus 5+ years in a relevant industry, or 7+ years equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance, precision alignment, and process equipment upkeep.
  • Comfort across electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and controls; capable of analyzing issues and executing durable repairs.
  • Competence with both standard hand tools and specialized instruments.
  • Experience with vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations.
  • Occasional travel flexibility.

Where and how you'll work

Expect long periods of standing and walking, frequent hand/arm use, climbing ladders or lifts, and work in tight spaces. You’ll stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl at times. Some sitting. Lifting/moving 50+ lbs may be required. Vision demands include close and color vision. Conditions can include outdoor exposure and risk of electrical shock. This is a factory setting—often very loud—with potential exposure to hazardous materials and slick floors.

Pay, perks, and more

Hourly range: $33.42—$42.75 USD. Compensation is aligned to experience, training, education, performance, business needs, and location. Benefits include comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision, paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and other programs.

You'll shine if you're proficient in

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • High Voltage Systems
  • Pneumatics Troubleshooting
