    Job Description:

    Role:
    The senior media planner is responsible for developing and managing the implementation of media plans. This role also oversees administration, financial management, reporting, and optimization recommendations and execution. Additional responsibilities include developing POVs based on media valuation, managing and tracking budgets, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

    In addition, this role is responsible for supporting business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

    Qualifications/Traits:

    Education:
    A bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    Skills and Experience:
    A minimum of 4-5 years of media planning and program management experience; current title of media planner or higher preferred
    Digital media experience
    Solid background in traditional media planning/buying within an agency environment
    Experience managing multiple clients and cross-functional teams
    Exposure to planning all media channels, both national and local
    Experience with core planning tools and systems
    Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    Proven ability to translate strategic plans into flawless real-world execution
    Strong negotiation skills and experience with integrated multichannel media packages
    Demonstrated proficiency in digital media channels including display, mobile, and search
    Strong understanding of ad serving, behavioral targeting, media, and analytics The salary range for this position is listed below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to budget, relevant experience, qualifications, and tenure in similar roles. Consideration may also be given to internal salary data for current or former employees in the same or similar positions.

    Salary Range: $60,000 - 70,000 annually

    Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
