    "Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C - Primary Care at Swedish Medical Group"

    Full-Time

    Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C are MAs with over 2 years of experience (6 months at a BRAND clinic). In addition to standard MA responsibilities like helping with administrative and clinical tasks, you'll take on a leadership role and help guide clinic operations and counsel Associate Medical Assistants beginning their careers. After a year of service as a Senior Medical Assistant, and a MA-C designation, you'll be eligible for a Lead MA promotion and additional leadership responsibilities.

    Required qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. Or
    • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. Or
    • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
    • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
    • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
    • 2 years medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
    • 2 years' Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
    • 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
