Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center is a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the East Bay through ten primary care clinics, four school-based health centers, and multiple specialty programs. With nearly 400 employees, an annual operating budget of approximately $60 million, and more than 30,000 patients served each year, TVHC provides comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, WIC, youth health, and community-based services to some of the region's most vulnerable populations.
Job Summary:
The Senior Medical Director of Clinical Services is a senior physician leader responsible for supporting the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the operational and clinical leadership of Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center's (TVHC) medical services and care delivery systems. This position partners closely with the CMO, Chief Operations Officer (COO), Associate Medical Directors (AMDs), Associate Director of Clinical Services, and operational leaders to ensure high-quality, accessible, patient-centered, and efficient clinical care across TVHC sites and programs.
The Senior Medical Director of Clinical Services provides day-to-day clinical leadership focused on provider engagement, ambulatory clinical operations, clinical quality execution, team-based care, and implementation of evidence-based standards and workflows. The role serves as a key liaison between frontline providers and executive leadership.
This position maintains an active clinical practice and provides direct patient care approximately 50% of the time.
The Senior Medical Director of Clinical Services reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and may supervise Associate Medical Directors, Associate Director of Clinical Services and other clinical leaders as assigned.

Salary Range: $259,305.25-$350,824.75 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
