    Saratoga Medical (DBA Saratoga Ascend) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer - Pediatrics, IRB & Clinical Policy to support DMID-sponsored clinical studies in Rockville, MD. This is a great opportunity for experienced physicians seeking to provide pediatric expertise, clinical trial oversight, IRB support, and policy development in a collaborative clinical research environment.

    Job Description:

    • Provide medical advisory support for IRB processes, pediatric clinical care, clinical trial oversight, and policy development.
    • Advise on IRB processes and clinical trial oversight.
    • Provide guidance on pediatric clinical care and hospital pharmacy matters.
    • Review clinical protocols and assess Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
    • Serve as a safety expert on safety committees.
    • Develop policies and guidelines impacting DMID-sponsored clinical studies.

    Required Qualifications & Documentation:

    • MD from an accredited university.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
    • U.S. work authorization required (No visa sponsorship).
    • No security clearance required.
    • Pediatrics background with IRB experience preferred.
    • Strong medical writing skills preferred; writing samples may be requested.
