Senior Merchant, NVS - Global Jordan

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

Senior Merchant, NVS, within the Global Jordan Brand Direct Merchandising function.

You’ll partner across Global Jordan, Geography merchandising, Nike Value Stores, marketplace, planning, product, consumer insights, and cross-sport merchandising teams to build a clear, consumer-led NVS offense for the brand. A key enabler of your success will be your ability to translate product, consumer, and business insights into sharp strategy, efficient seasonal execution, and strong cross-functional alignment.

You are a proactive, resourceful merchant who understands how to connect consumer demand, product lifecycle opportunities, marketplace needs, and financial goals. You have experience building assortments, influencing cross-functional partners, and using insights to make thoughtful merchandising decisions. You are comfortable operating with ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and bringing structure to complex workstreams. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong point of view, and the collaboration skills needed to move teams forward.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• 4+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, Planning or a related field
• Strong understanding of consumer, marketplace, channel, and product lifecycle dynamics, with experience translating insights into assortment or line plan decisions
• Ability to create, communicate, and influence merchandising strategies across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in analyzing business performance, consumer trends, marketplace needs, and product productivity to inform decisions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to build structure, simplify complexity, and drive efficient ways of working
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, seasonal gates, and competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build recommendations, tell clear product and business stories, and present to cross-functional partners
• Team-first mentality with positive energy, strong collaboration, and the ability to influence without authority

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 

You will lead the Jordan Brand NVS merchandising offense, translating consumer insights, marketplace opportunities, influence product lifecycle decisions, and business objectives into seasonal strategies and assortments. Success in this role comes from building strong cross-functional relationships, applying thoughtful analysis, driving clarity through key seasonal moments, and maintaining a genuine curiosity for the consumer, the brand, and the NVS marketplace.

• Drive seasonal NVS merchandising strategy in partnership with Global Jordan, Geography, marketplace, planning, product, and cross-sport teams
• Build and communicate clear seasonal product priorities, assortment direction, and marketplace guardrails for NVS partners
• Lead line planning inputs, seasonal readiness, and product information sharing to support key go-to-market gates
• Partner with sport, streetwear, kids, accessories, and inline merchandising teams to identify eligible product opportunities and ensure NVS assortments complement the broader Jordan Brand marketplace
• Use data, consumer insights, and marketplace feedback to evaluate assortment productivity, recommend investment choices, and help drive sustainable growth for Jordan NVS
