Senior MFM Perinatal Sonographer

Our client is seeking a Senior Perinatal Sonographer that is an experienced professional with strong collaboration and leadership skills. In this role, the incumbent will support a collaborative team of sonographers by providing day-to-day guidance and mentorship and supporting quality assurance and control activities. As a member of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine sonography team, the incumbent will perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving ultrasound images, and will be responsible for the care of the patient while in the ultrasound area.

What is needed for this role?

Successful candidates will bring at least 3 years of relevant sonography experience, including exposure to and demonstrated high-level proficiency in a wide range of OB/GYN ultrasound exams including, but not limited to, gynecological, first trimester, fetal growth, biophysical profile, fetal anatomical survey, evaluation of multiples, doppler interrogations, and fetal procedures, according to department protocols and standards. They will also bring an ability and interest in mentoring team members, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and providing operational support to team leadership. Through this role, the incumbent can expect to build their training and leadership skills in a patient care environment.
