Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer

Client Overview:
Our client is a large mission-driven organization supporting teams and operations across multiple locations. Their technology team supports a broad portfolio of enterprise systems and is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer to support and enhance a mission-critical CRM and Contact Center environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50/hr - $65/hr

Position Overview:
The Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer will serve as a technical owner of an enterprise Dynamics 365 CRM and Contact Center platform and the surrounding Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role is highly hands-on and will focus on custom development, integrations, platform enhancements, and technical architecture.

Responsibilities of the Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer:

• Own solution architecture, custom development, and enhancements within Dynamics 365 CRM and Contact Center.
• Develop custom solutions using C#, JavaScript, .NET, and the Dynamics 365 SDK.
• Build and maintain plugins and custom workflows.
• Develop solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Design and support integrations with Azure services, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Manage deployments and source control through Azure DevOps.
• Support platform performance, security, role-based access, and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalated platform support.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders on platform enhancements.
• Support SharePoint integrations and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer:

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM experience.
• Strong custom development experience using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and the Dynamics 365 SDK.
• Experience developing Dynamics 365 plugins and custom workflows.
• Strong Microsoft Power Platform experience, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure services and APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for deployments and source control.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, relational data modeling, and ETL.
• Strong understanding of CRM development principles, SDLC, and SaaS best practices.
• Ability to take technical ownership of a Dynamics 365 environment.
• Ability to travel regularly.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer:

• Dynamics 365 Contact Center experience.
• Power BI, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents experience.
• Microsoft Copilot or Contact Center AI experience.
• SharePoint Online administration.
• Okta identity integration experience.
• Stripe payment integration experience.
• Experience working within a nonprofit environment.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, or MB-210.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
