Job Title: Senior Model Builder & Architect
Location: 100% Remote (PST/ CST Time Zone)
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract


Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking experienced Senior Model Builders & Architects with deep expertise in Anaplan and Pigment to support enterprise planning, modeling, and integration initiatives. This role will partner with architects, integration specialists, product owners, and technical leads to design, build, enhance, and support scalable planning solutions aligned to platform best practices.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in enterprise implementations, model architecture, integrations, support operations, and documentation. This role also requires familiarity with Pigment AI and Anaplan AI capabilities, along with proven experience supporting large enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with architects, integration specialists, product owners, and other technical leads to design and build scalable planning solutions aligned to best practices.
  • Develop integration processes for inbound and outbound data flows across systems including Anaplan, Pigment, Snowflake, SAP, Surf, and Workday.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize system configurations and solution objects including: business processes, reports, security groups, integration systems, calculated fields, custom validations
  • Gather business and technical requirements and groom user stories related to new implementations and enhancements.
  • Monitor and support solutions deployed to production, including: security role configuration, tenant management, user access provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and defects in configurations, business processes, calculations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform: data validation, system testing, user acceptance testing support, release management, production deployment activities
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation such as: data flow diagrams, process flows, architecture diagrams, workflow documentation, support runbooks
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to ServiceNow resources and end users for newly delivered capabilities and enhancements.
  • Participate in daily and weekly project meetings during onshore hours and provide timely updates on progress, issues, risks, and dependencies.

Work Products / Deliverables
The contractor will deliver the following work products to ServiceNow:
  • Requirements documentation and groomed user stories for project implementation and enhancement efforts
  • Solution configurations and model objects developed in alignment with best practices
  • Integration builds and support for inbound and outbound enterprise data flows
  • Documentation for architecture, workflows, data flows, process flows, and release activities
  • Test support artifacts, validation results, and deployment support for production releases
  • Knowledge transfer materials and training sessions for internal teams and business users

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of total experience working with Anaplan and Pigment in enterprise planning and modeling environments.
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end implementation projects in Anaplan and/or Pigment.
  • Minimum 2 years of managed support experience for a large enterprise customer.
  • Proven experience as a certified model builder with one of the following:
  • Master Anaplanner certification, or Certified Solution Architect credential
  • Completion of relevant Pigment Academy training.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on exposure to Pigment AI and Anaplan AI capabilities.
  • Experience integrating planning platforms with enterprise systems such as Snowflake, SAP, Surf, and Workday.
  • Strong experience with model design, calculations, planning structures, hierarchies, security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with production support, incident resolution, release management, and operational governance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting planning use cases across finance, workforce, sales, or operational planning domains.
  • Experience working in global delivery models with onshore and offshore coordination.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and platform governance.
  • Ability to provide solution recommendations, lead design discussions, and influence best-practice adoption.
