Senior .NET Application Developer

We want to fill a Senior .NET Application Developer role for the Client (Client) in the DC Government.
The ideal candidate is a DMV resident with 11-15 years of experience developing Client-Server/Web/Cloud/Mobile applications using .NET, ASP, C#, and SQL Server. Nice-to-have skills include Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP, and WebLogic.

Executive Summary: Client is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Application Developer to support the Application Software Development (ASD) Division of the Office of Information Systems (OIS) by building, implementing, and enhancing case and program management applications.

Position Description: The developer will implement and manage business-aligned IT services, ensuring high-quality, defect-free application platforms that adhere to industry standards. Responsibilities include making system fixes, troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with Business Analysts to formulate IT solutions, and performing proactive application monitoring and system upgrades.

Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy applications that support users on the case and program management applications.
Provide mentorship and technical advice to a team of Application/Reports/Query developers.
Provide strategic advice to the lead, management, and customers of the OIS.
Implement programming standards that support a secure and defect-free application.
Interact daily with government clients in order to meet the technical requirements for new initiatives.
Work with Quality Assurance / Quality Control teams to insure the application remains secure and defect free.
Define and document processes to be used by all application developers on the team.
Plan, research, and recommend new equipment, software tools, and related technologies.
Use monitoring and performance analysis tools to troubleshoot and isolate application performance issues.
Update system and process documentation, produce user guides, ER diagrams, and SOPs as needed - Including Visio Network design drawings.
Convey technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
Coordinate programming activities being conducted by the application development team.
Confer with other business and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing and project design.
Leverage excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders.
Integrate a variety of diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.

Candidate should strong ETL experience in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence platforms 7 year(s) of experience
Experience with Databases using ADO.NET 7 year(s) of experience
Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architecture 6 year(s) of experience
Experience with any of JIRA/Bugzilla/Client ALM tools 5 year(s) of experience
