Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior .NET Azure AI Developer to support the development of next-generation cloud and AI-enabled applications for a high-profile enterprise program. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET development, cloud architecture, AI integrations, and infrastructure automation. This position will be onsite in Woodlawn, MD!
Responsibilities of the Senior .NET Azure AI Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core
- Build and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services
- Develop and secure RESTful APIs supporting enterprise application integrations
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows
- Create and manage infrastructure as code using Bicep and Azure-native deployment automation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and deployment processes
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments
- Produce technical documentation and support operational best practices
Qualifications of the Senior .NET Azure AI Developer:
- 7+ years of software development experience with .NET technologies
- Strong expertise with C#, ASP.NET Core, and enterprise application development
- Experience developing applications using Node.js and/or Python
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
- Strong SQL development skills, including database design and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB
- Experience utilizing Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, or other AI/ML technologies
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation
- Experience creating and maintaining Bicep scripts for Azure infrastructure provisioning
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and container orchestration platforms
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployments
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL database platforms
- Microsoft Azure certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or related certifications
- Experience supporting cloud modernization and AI transformation initiatives
Compensation for the Senior .NET Azure AI Developer:
- Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience)
